Our client, a telecommnications company situated in Bahrain is looking to recruit a Network Infrastructure Manager who would be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities:

- Formulating, developing and implemening integrated network architecture for medium to large computer systems.

- Developing standards for computer, network systems and network security, to include standards for wiring, equipment, system security and routing protocol.

- Providing project management of technical staff in the implementation, installation, configuration and technical support of computer and network architecture.

- Coordinating projects with other department and external organization and agencies.

- Providing planning, leadership, direction and advanced technical expertise regarding computer and network services for both local and wide area networks and the worldwide internet.

- Serving as primary point of contact and liaison with vendors, reviewing vendor products and coordinating and facilitating vendor interviews and presentations.

- Negotiating exact technical requirements with vendors.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A degree in Information Technology, Networking or related field.

- In-depth knowledge in areas of network infrastructure operations including operating systems, host system connectivity, networking topology, disaster recovery, high availability, security, data communications database concepts and understanding of host system connectivity.

- Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical and presentation skills along with 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
