Our client, a leading energy solutions company is looking to recruit an Application Support Analyst who would be reporting to the Senior Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Investigating and verifying issues producing documented steps to recreate.
- Assisting with reporting verified issues to application vendor(s).
- Testing software fixes and other solutions designed to address root causes as required.
- Facilitating solutions delivery where local communication and coordination are key.
- Performing the field troubleshooting duties where required and adhering to change/release Management procedure.
- Travelling to various locations in a fact-finding, account management or troubleshooting capacity as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in IT along with 5-6 years of experience in a similar field.
- Puntual and reliable with regard to being available to support the business between published hours, knowledge of business and application processes, knowledge of Movex ERP (added advantage), able to work productively with an absolute minimum supervision, able to withstand pressure and meet challenging deadlines and good SQL skills would also be another added advantage.
