Our client, a Bahrain government company is looking to recruit a Development Geophysicist.

Responsibilities:

- Interpreting siesmic data in regional and reservior scale in an integrated approach with geologist (goelogical modeling) and with reservoir engineers (flow modeling).

- Evaluating well log and siesmic signal, to build synthetic seismograms, to understand rock properties in terms of seismic calibration and technical uncertainties.

- Building seismic attributes and siesmic facies maps and correlate seismic attributes, reservoir geological properties and dynamic properties.

- Having interest with new technologies like 4D seismic, multicomponent seismic and new methodologies applied to reservoir seismic characterization.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Candidate should have a BSc / MSc degree in Geology / Geophysics along with 10-12 years of experience.

- The incumbent should have the ability to operate seismic interpretation softwares: IESX and Geoframe applications, siesmic inversion software: hampson-hussel and he/she should also have the ability to integrate geophysics and geology software and siesmic modeling software packages.
